Payment for summer camp is due in full by June 1st. You may pay the balance of your camp fee in installments. Financial assistance is available. Please call (515) 471-8548 with questions or concerns. Cancellations must be received in writing, either via email to firstname.lastname@example.org or via mail to 4200 University Ave., Suite 320, West Des Moines, IA 50266. Campers who withdraw from camp prior to May 1st will receive a full refund, less the $60 deposit. Campers who withdraw May 1st to June 1st will receive a 50% refund, less the $60 deposit. Campers who withdraw after June 1st will not receive a refund for camp fees. Parents may elect to pay the camp fee in several installments. The final payment must be made by June 1st.
The true cost of all our programs greatly exceeds our fees. The actual cost of summer overnight camp is almost $1,300 per camper. The generosity of families and other donors makes Camp Hertko Hollow a reality. We ask that each family consider making a donation above the camper fee to help subsidize the cost of camp for families that are not able to afford the full amount. Your donation is tax deductible and a receipt will be provided for tax purposes.
A non-refundable deposit of $60.00 is required with each camper registration. If a deposit does not accompany the paperwork, then your camper will not be registered, nor a camper spot reserved, and you will be notified about next steps.
