Counselors in Training

Campers between the ages of 16 - 18 may apply for the CIT Program (Counselor In Training) during Session A.  This is an optional program for campers who are interested in becoming future leaders.  CITs will receive leadership training, have assigned duties,  and work on group projects to benefit the camp.

CIT Applications for 2005 camp are now available

CIT Program Information

The CIT program during Session B is preparing campers to become counselors in the future. As you know, it is very important that young campers have good role models who have diabetes.  This helps them to accept diabetes and have a positive outlook for the future.   You can participate in the CIT program for several years.  After successfully completing one year you are eligible to apply to be a Senior CIT.  Only a limited number of  Senior CITs will be chosen each year to attend Session A and work with the elementary age children.

Whether or not you apply for the CIT program is your choice.  If interested, fill out the Counselor in Training application, in addition to  a regular camper application  and mail to the address below by the  May 1st    deadline.  CIT's chosen to be Senior CITs will be notified by May 15th.
